Willow Glen High has served the community of San José, California for over 70 years. Our team of 173 employees serve nearly 1,600 students in grades 9-12.
At Willow Glen High, parents and staff work together to ensure that each student receives a rigorous and comprehensive education in a safe, caring environment. All students have the opportunity to think critically, work both independently and collaboratively, take risks, and be creative. Students are at the core of all decisions and our team is committed to helping students become lifelong learners and preparing them to be the thinkers, leaders, and creators of tomorrow.

Willow Glen High School provides students with outstanding academic and extracurricular programs, college and career advising, and personal guidance.
Our comprehensive instructional program helps every student meet state academic standards and prepares students to enter a four-year university. Most of our students, including the 13 percent who have been identified for our Gifted and Talented Education program, excel in our 13 Advanced Placement courses, University Express program, Honors courses, Musical Theater, Band, Visual Arts, Mock Trial, and Athletic programs.
Major theatrical productions and strong student leadership energize our campus culture. We also enjoy support from our active Parents Club, Athletic Boosters, Arts Boosters, and Community Foundation. Learning and research resources include our state-of-the-art library/technology center, which features a homework center hours .
